Jorge de la Cova

C+TC Design Studio
Jorge de la Cova Senior Project Architect

Jorge graduated from the Georgia Institute of Technology with a Masters in Architecture in 1990. This degree led him into a line of work that combined his two life-long loves of art and science. Before joining C+TC Design Studio as a Senior Project Architect, he worked with two small firms learning the basic skills of the profession, project documentation, and execution.

In his free time, Jorge is a bit of a handyman, and a selfless one at that. It wasn’t until later in his life that he discovered his passion for giving back to his community and working with his hands. Through Atlanta Habitat for Humanity, he began to contribute and even lead crews in building porches and installing siding, soffit, base, trim, doors, and cabinets.

Jorge’s hard work in his professional life and charity work hasn’t gone unnoticed. In 2009, he won first place in the Paulistano Uncovered Design Competition. He is also the four-time recipient of the President’s Volunteer Service Award and won the Atlanta Habitat for Humanity Volunteer of the Year Award in 2013.
