Kara Breitinger loves working with her hands. From building with K’NEX® as a kid to powering through an Ikea build, she’s game for a challenge. It wasn’t until high school that she was introduced to the Interior Design career path; from there, she focused her skills on the hospitality industry through college internships. Kara received her Bachelor of Science in Interior Design from the University of Cincinnati, worked for Hirsch Bedner Associates in Atlanta and Champalimaud Design in New York City, received a New Design Professional Award in 2011, and designed a running line console for Sicis’ furniture collection.
When she’s not working, Kara spends her time adding stamps to her passport. So far she has visited 22 cities across Europe and Asia from Dublin to Istanbul. More domestically, she has visited 29 of the 50 states and parts of Canada. She collects shot glasses from every place she visits.
