Michael Melugin has been creating things with his hands his whole life. After renovating his home with his father in high school – taking care of the design, permitting, construction all on their own – he decided he wanted to continue building. In an effort to avoid the miserable weather of South East Texas, Michael decided to try something that dealt more with the creative side of building. He graduated from the University of Houston College of Architecture with a Bachelor’s Degree, before heading on to work with firms all across the South and landing at C+TC in 2004.
Michael’s love of creating and building extends into his free time. At home, he does woodworking, auto repair, and robotics builds with his son. He is also the Director of Advocacy for the American Institute of Architects Georgia, a Boy Scout Troop Director, and an Eagle Scout Science Olympiad Coach.
