Westin Chattanooga

Chattanooga, Tennessee

This building was originally designed as a major health insurance headquarters in 1970. After 40 years of use as an office building, the property began the transformation into an upscale hotel. The hotel is designed around a mixture of rich earth tones and patterns that celebrate the local terrain. The massive columns from the original building are used to create and define spaces without traditional walls, leaving many areas open and free-flowing. Taking advantage of the temperate climate, many of the spaces blend interior and exterior with full-height operable partitions opening onto outdoor terraces, one of which faces onto the main street with a dynamic water feature. The hotel features 236 guestrooms, 25 suites, 15,000 square feet of meeting space, a restaurant, lobby bar, marketplace, roof top pool and bar.
