Thanks to our expertise in both interior design and architecture, our firm offers a holistic viewpoint that is unique. From hospitality to senior living, C+TC Design Studio specializes in creative solutions for both new construction and renovations.
Our design teams are always accessible through every stage of the process. You will work with the same architects and interior designers from the initial design to final construction. Whether you opt for our architectural services, interior design services, or both, we seek innovative ways to perfect revenue-generating components, identify energy- and cost-saving materials and applications, optimize functionality, and ultimately enhance the guest experience.
Leadership
A founding principal of C+TC, Jim recognizes that each project represents a dream for his clients. His goal is to translate these dreams into reality by merging the disciplines of architecture and interior design. The result is planning precision to shape both the structural and decorative look of spaces, while achieving a balance in drama and function.
After graduating from Georgia Tech, he gained insightful experience from working with international architects. His work as a young architect honed his expertise in hotel design and introduced him to the challenges and innovation that accompany such projects. Examples of his completed projects include the Primland Lodge, Westin Chattanooga, and All Seasons Oro Valley. His projects have been featured in The New York Times and USA Today. Outside of work, Jim enjoys playing the guitar, golfing, and working on home renovation projects.
Specializing in interior architecture and design for both new construction and renovations, Billie leads the interior design studio. She grew up visiting job sites with her father who was a purchasing agent for hotels across the country. Thanks to her lifelong immersion in the world of hospitality, she takes great pride in creating new and exciting spaces. Billie’s award-winning ability to exceed client expectations while also meeting the demands of the property is incomparable and is evident in each project she undertakes, big or small.
Billie earned her Bachelor of Science in Architectural Studies from the University of Texas in Austin. She is a member of the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID), The Network of Executive Women in Hospitality (NEWH), The International Society of Hospitality Consultants (ISHC), The Atlanta Hospitality Alliance and is NCIDQ Certified. Away from the studio, Billie appreciates spending time with her family, traveling, and yoga.
Bill specializes in base building architecture and renovation design for hospitality, senior living, interior architecture, and space planning projects. As a forward-thinking architect, he is driven to create properly designed buildings that can improve the lives and experiences of the people who interact with them. That interplay is showcased in projects like the Omni Hotel at The Battery Atlanta.
Bill earned his Master of Architecture from Georgia Tech. An active member of professional architectural organizations, he received a Presidential Citation from AIA Georgia and has earned many certificates of appreciation from the organization. When he is not engaged in work projects and research, Bill likes to travel and spend time with his family, friends, and two dogs.
